Honkai Impact 3rd, the popular action title, has announced the release of its v8.1 update, Drumming in New Resolutions, which is set to arrive on February 20, 2025. The update introduces Kiana's new battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star, which is an SD-type battlesuit that wields a long staff to deal fire damage. The update also includes new events, outfits, and rewards to celebrate the game's anniversary.

The new battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star, comes with recommended weapons, PRI-ARM, and stigmata that can be equipped to stack extra passion marks on enemies. Additionally, Herrscher of Human: Ego's recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and stigmata will also be available in v8.1.

In the story interlude, players can learn more about Leylah and participate in activities to earn crystals, source prisms, and other rewards. Kiana has returned to the real world with Rice Cake and received a new mission from Theresa. Players can join them in the festive celebrations at the Moon Base and participate in events to obtain shop tokens and exchange them for crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and other fantastic rewards.

The v8.1 update also includes anniversary rewards, such as login events that offer Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, anniversary emblems, and more. Players can log in for seven days after the update to obtain Kiana's Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human's new Stigma Option, and Equipment Supply Card x10. From February 25 to March 4, players can log in to obtain S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and more.

The update also offers discounts and bonuses, such as saving 50% on the first 10 drops of Kiana's Battlesuit Supply and earning double rewards from first top-ups. Additionally, Carnival Supply's pool rotation rewards 10x Carnival Battlesuit Supply Card x2 to those who participate.
