The game is now available for PC on Steam and GOG for $16.99/£14.29/€16.49. To celebrate the launch, a 10% discount is being offered to those who purchase the game during its first week. The game's haunting soundtrack can also be bought separately for $4.99/£4.29/€4.99.
Hollowbody is a dystopian love letter to classic survival horror games, with grimy, abandoned urban locations contrasting with a futuristic aesthetic. Players control Mica, an unlicensed black-market shipper searching for her missing partner in a long-abandoned British city. After crashing in the exclusion zone, she must navigate the dangerous area, solve puzzles, manage resources, and fight for survival while trying to escape.
The game features classic survival horror gameplay, dynamic and fixed camera angles, logic puzzles, resource management, limited combat, full voice acting, and a strong emphasis on world-building. Hollowbody offers difficulty options to cater to players who prefer exploration over combat and includes post-game unlocks and features.
Headware Games is a solo developer based in the UK, known for its acclaimed psychological horror game, Chasing Static, released in 2021. For more information about Hollowbody, visit the official Headware Games website or follow them on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
