Realcast, a virtual reality (VR) game studio, has announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for its new game, Hide the Corpse, a humorous physics-based puzzler set in the 1970s. Players must hide a corpse in various hiding places within a four-minute time limit. The Kickstarter campaign will support the game's final development and provide backers with exclusive rewards, early access to the game, and the opportunity to give feedback during the development process.

Hide the Corpse features far-out physics gameplay, time-limited challenges, and 70s-inspired design. The game includes over 10 levels and 60 unique hiding spots, as well as mini-games that can be unlocked after completing the main game. The game is designed to be a fun and creative experience, rather than a horror or gore-filled title.

Realcast is an award-winning studio founded in 2017 by industry veterans Nino Sapina and Diego Fernandez. The studio specializes in developing VR and augmented reality (AR) experiences. The idea for Hide the Corpse was presented by a team of students from the ISART Digital School in 2023, who later joined Realcast to help develop the game.

The Kickstarter campaign will support the final development of Hide the Corpse, which is set to launch in 2024. The campaign offers various reward tiers for backers, including early access to the game, exclusive in-game items, and behind-the-scenes updates. The demo for Hide the Corpse is available to play on Meta Quest.
