Pc Games Indie Game Action Game Role Playing Game Free To Play Mobile Gaming Nintendo SwitchGuardian Tales, the action-adventure game by Kong Studios, has announced a new collaboration with the popular Japanese anime, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. In this two-part update, players will be able to explore a short story filled with quests and adventures, featuring beloved characters from the anime.
In the first part of the update, arriving on April 2, players will step into the shoes of Rimuru Tempest, a ★3 Pick-up Summon Hero, and can call upon Shuna as a ★3 Hero. Shuna will also be obtainable in an in-game event and can be maxed out with the resources and currency given to all players as part of the event. Milim Nava, a ★3 Pick-up Summon Hero, will join in the second part of the update, along with other appearances from the cast as NPCs in the Short Story stages.
The second update will also offer the Bingo event board, where players can cash in their event points to spin the wheel and win incredible prizes, including Shuna's exclusive weapons, Shuna's exclusive costume, and Milim Nava's exclusive costume.
Guardian Tales is a game that combines charming pixel art graphics and action-adventure dungeon crawling, inspired by the history of gaming. Kong Studios, the developer, is a startup headquartered in Silicon Valley of the U.S., focusing on developing games with unique and new gameplay perspectives. Kakao Games, the publisher, is a leading publisher of online and mobile games, responsible for releasing titles including Black Desert Online, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, ArcheAge, Eternal Return, Guardian Tales, and Eversoul.
