Grindstone and developer Games Farm have released a new content update for the action RPG Jötunnslayer, titled "Hordes of Hel." The update introduces a new playable character, Njord, the God of the High Seas and Wealth, who brings new abilities and weapons to the game. Each of the game's four heroes will also receive two new weapons, expanding the game's arsenal and customization options.

Njord's abilities include summoning aquatic monsters, using unique water-based skills, and enhancing gold acquisition and chest spawns. The new weapons for each hero include the Sea Wolf's Axes and Jagged Axes for the Beserker, the Tidecall Staff and Totemic Staff for the Seeress, the Serpent Bow and Composite Bow for the Revenant, and the Pirate Dagger and Cruel Dagger for the Flame Sister.

The update also includes various improvements and fixes, such as enhanced quit raid functionality, improved cutscene display on wide screens, and weapon skill balancing adjustments. Jötunnslayer is available for purchase now, and players can join the official Discord and X community for news and updates.
