NACON and Spiders Studio have announced the release date for the narrative RPG, GreedFall II: The Dying World. The early access version of the game will be available on Steam for PC starting on September 24, 2024. The game is a prequel to the original GreedFall, which has a player community of over 2 million.

GreedFall II: The Dying World is set three years before the events of the first game and allows players to explore the regions of Teer Fradee, Thynia, and Uxantis. Players will take on the role of a native of Teer Fradee who has been forcibly relocated to the continent of Gacane, the homeland of the colonists. The game features a variety of challenges that players can overcome through diplomacy, cunning, or combat skills.

The early access version of GreedFall II: The Dying World will include the first chapters of the main quest and some of the characters that will accompany players on their journey. The game content will be expanded and improved throughout the early access phase, with new features and improvements such as zones, companions, quests, and skills.

GreedFall II: The Dying World will be available for early access on PC via Steam on September 24, 2024, and will be released for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.
