Cygames, a Tokyo-based video game publisher and developer, released the Version 1.40 update for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (GBVSR) on May 22, 2024. The update includes the new playable character Beatrix, additional in-game content with Battle Pass Round 4, a new character costume for Lancelot, and System Voice Set 2. Beatrix is available as a DLC character, and players can also purchase a new character costume, "Knight's Finery," for Lancelot. Battle Pass Round 4 offers additional in-game items and a new lobby avatar, Shark. System Voice Set 2 unlocks character system voices for characters included in Character Pass 1. GBVSR's Standard and Deluxe Editions are currently on sale on the PlayStation™Store and Steam Store. The update comes with online lobby and Story mode updates as well.
