Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Gets New Playable Character Galleon and Battle Pass Round 8

Cygames has released the Version 2.10 update for its popular video game, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, which includes a new playable character, Galleon, and various in-game content. The update also features a quick menu, training mode standby option in online lobbies, a ranked match system rework, new Grand Bruise! rewards, and various battle and character adjustments.

Galleon is a DLC character and is available for purchase at $7.99. The set includes a premium avatar, a character badge, a weapon cutout, figure studio poses and expressions, and a bonus item for the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 purchases.

Battle Pass Round 8 is now available, featuring additional in-game items such as illustrations, stickers, badges, trophies, and a new lobby avatar, Wubbly Galleon. Players can obtain even more rewards by purchasing Premium Battle Pass Round 8, which includes a No Fear, No Pain costume for Vaseraga in addition to exclusive character colors and weapon skins.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is currently on sale for 61% off on the PlayStation Store and Steam. The standard and deluxe editions are available at a discounted price until June 4 (PT) on PlayStation and June 3 (PT) on Steam. The game is also now included in the Game Catalog for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.

Fans can preorder new Galleon acrylic stands and keychains on the CyStore website and purchase new apparel featuring Galleon on Amazon's Merch on Demand service. The preorder period for the CyStore merchandise is from May 28 to 11 p.m., June 26, 2025 (PT).
