Granblue Fantasy: Relink Update Adds New Character, Quests, and Photo Mode

Cygames, the publisher and developer of the action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink, has announced a major update to the game for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam. The update, Version 1.3.0, will be available on May 31 and will include new quests, a new playable character named Sandalphon, Photo Mode, and other additional content.

Sandalphon is a protector of the Sky Realm and was originally introduced in the Granblue Fantasy browser game. Players can unlock Sandalphon by completing certain in-game requirements or by purchasing his Character Expansion Set. The update also includes three challenging quests with powerful boss-level monsters, including a new form of Lucilius.

Photo Mode is a new feature that allows players to capture and customize shots of their Relink adventure. Players can also participate in the Relink Photo Contest, which is currently accepting entries. Other update features include Sigil Synthesis, a map overlay, and new control scheme options.

Paid additional content coming in the update includes a new emote expansion set and item packs for upgrading characters, weapons, and sigils. Granblue Fantasy: Relink takes place in the Sky Realm, where players take on the role of a skyfaring crew captain in search of the fabled island of Estalucia. The game is set in the Zegagrande Skydom, where islands are guarded by primal beasts and a secretive organization called the Church of Avia exists.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is published and developed by Cygames, Inc. For more information, visit the official website or follow the official Twitter account. © Cygames, Inc.
