Granblue Fantasy: Relink Update Adds New Boss Battle and Gameplay Adjustments

Cygames, the video game publisher and developer, has announced a major free update for its action RPG, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam. The update, version 1.1.0, will be released on March 14, 2024, and will include a new challenging boss battle against Lucilius, adjustments to gameplay, and additional paid content.

The new quest, The Final Vision, is added in Proud difficulty, where players can join Supreme Primarch Sandalphon in a battle against Lucilius. Additional paid content includes emotes, item packs for strengthening characters and weapons, and more. The pricing for the additional content may vary depending on the region.

Gameplay adjustments have also been made to improve the overall experience. The Version 1.1.0 Patch Notes can be found on the official website.

Cygames has also announced that Seofon and Tweyen will join the roster of playable characters in Version 1.2.0, and Sandalphon in Version 1.3.0.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action RPG that offers real-time combat with a party of up to four characters, each with unique weapons, skills, and combat styles. The game offers a complete single-player experience and cooperative online multiplayer action.

The game's story takes place in the Sky Realm, where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. Players take on the role of a captain of a skyfaring crew, joined by a dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria. Together, they sail with a colorful cast of crewmates for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies.
