The Tourist Trap update has been released for the city-builder game, Go-Go Town!, currently in Early Access on Steam. This update is the biggest one yet, and it significantly enhances the game's tourism systems. It introduces visitor personalities, new demands, and unique tourist types, including clowns, robots, aliens, dinosaurs, ghosts, and more.

The update also features Transit Terminals, star-rated food and shopping systems, and major landmarks, such as the Lighthouse, Conservatory, Stadium, and Hot Springs. Players can now build and destroy cliff tiles across the main map after unlocking a certain feature, providing more space for massive attractions.

To support the expanded tourism focus, the update introduces a new visitor type, the Easy-Goer, specifically designed to make early-game progression smoother for new players. The Tourist Trap update is available now as a free content update for Go-Go Town! on Steam Early Access.

Prideful Sloth, the Australian team of seasoned developers who have worked on AAA properties, developed Go-Go Town! The game is supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Digital Games Incentive. CULT Games, a brand new games label, is partnering with Prideful Sloth to publish Go-Go Town! with a community-focused approach. The label is launching its first games in 2023, led by a team with decades of experience driving commercial and critical success in games and entertainment.
