Genotype Debuts Early on PSVR2: Explore Antarctic Research Base Now

The virtual reality game, Genotype, was recently released for PSVR2, ahead of its scheduled launch date. The unexpected release resulted in a faulty store page, which has since been corrected, and no feedback from streamers, influencers, or reviewers is available yet.

Genotype is a game that allows players to explore an abandoned research facility in Antarctica, overrun by monstrous beasts. Players can wield high-tech gloves that print living organisms, which can be used as weapons and survival tools. The game features high-fidelity graphics, an emotional narrative with fully voice-acted characters, and a unique sound design.

As an intern at an Antarctic weather station, players take on the role of Evely, who falls through the ice into the Snowdrop Initiative laboratories. With the help of the facility's last human survivor, William, players must save themselves and the planet.

Bolverk Games, an award-winning indie studio based in Denmark, developed Genotype. The studio specializes in VR games and software and has been at the forefront of VR gaming since its inception.

Although the release of Genotype for PSVR2 was unexpected, fans of the game can now explore the abandoned research facility and take on the monstrous beasts within. With its unique gameplay mechanics, emotional narrative, and high-quality graphics, Genotype is a must-play for VR gaming enthusiasts.
