Pc Games Indie Game Mobile Gaming Virtual Reality Gaminggamescom latam, the Latin American edition of the world's largest gaming event, took place in São Paulo, Brazil, from June 26 to 30, 2024. The event featured a diverse program covering various topics, including the social impact of games, global expansion strategies, and the role of games in environmental protection.
The Brazil Games Project, an export and internationalization program by Abragames in partnership with ApexBrasil, was a significant focus during the event. Lisa Pak from UNEP - Playing for the Planet discussed how games can be a powerful tool for environmental protection and presented practical and accessible actions to minimize the negative effects of screen time.
