Games for Change Announces 2024 Awards Finalists: A Global Showcase of Games for Social Impact

Games for Change, a leading advocate for games and immersive media as drivers of social impact, has announced the finalists for the 2024 Games for Change Awards. The awards received 44% more submissions than in 2023, with 37% coming from the United States and 63% from international developers, showcasing the global impact of games as a force for good. The finalists include games across nine categories: Best in Innovation, Best in Civics, Best in Environmental Impact, Best in Health & Wellness, Best in Impact, Best in Learning, Best in XR, Best Narrative, Best Student Project, and Best Gameplay. Winners will be announced at the annual Festival in New York on June 27. Games for Change empowers game creators and innovators to drive real-world change, supporting a global community of game developers using games to tackle real-world challenges.
