In December, more than a dozen game publishers participated in the Maui Strong Sale, led by KOMODO, and raised over $50,000 for the Maui Strong Fund. The fund supports recovery efforts for the communities affected by the wildfires in Maui last summer. KOMODO, a games publisher based in Honolulu and Tokyo, initiated the sale over Steam, and other participating publishers included Capcom, Spike Chunsoft, mino\_dev, City Connection, SNK, Taito, DANGEN Entertainment, Gotcha Gotcha Games, Freebird Games, PsychoFlux Entertainment, and more.

Each publisher donated a portion of their sales revenue to the Maui Strong Fund, managed by the Hawai’i Community Foundation. The fund provides financial resources to support the immediate and long-term recovery needs for the people and places affected by the wildfires. The donations will be used efficiently and effectively to make a real difference in the lives of those affected.

KOMODO, with offices in Honolulu, Hawai’i, will continue to seek ways to support the people of Maui. The company delivers games, stories, and technology that change the world through the universal language of play. KOMODO HAWAI’I publishes popular titles on PC and game consoles, including Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum, OneShot, Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S, and the A-Train series of games. Additionally, Tokyo-based KOMODO Co., Ltd. is the official licensed provider of Valve's Steam Deck in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea.

The Maui Strong Sale was a successful collaboration between game publishers to support a worthy cause, demonstrating the power of the gaming community to make a positive impact on the world.
