Fantail Games has released its new game, Game Night, in Early Access for Meta Quest devices. Game Night is a collection of mixed reality minigames designed for players of all ages, with the goal of promoting face-to-face interaction and physical movement. The game currently features three minigames, with more to be added in the future. These minigames include Fishing, where players scoop up fish; Bouncing, where players bat balloon rabbits into carrots; and Slapping, where players stop alien jelly. Game Night supports 1-4 players and allows for both cooperative and competitive play. The game is available for Quest 3, 3S, Pro, and 2, and can be found on the Meta Store page. Fantail Games is an indie studio based in Christchurch, New Zealand, focused on developing mixed reality games that demonstrate the unique playstyles of the platform. The team has experience creating social mobile AR titles, which prepared them for their transition to fully immersive MR.
