PQube and Inti Creates have released a content update for the metroidvania-style game, Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark. The update includes new bosses, the ability to lock inventory items, improved sub-weapon icons, demon lord bone counts on the map, warping from Maxim Castle to the most recent tea table, and the option to choose between the True Ending and the Normal Ending when meeting True Ending requirements. Some enemies and areas have been balanced, and various adjustments have been made to improve game balance.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is the latest title in the gothic-inspired 2D action series and features a full metroidvania experience set in the Demon Realm. Players can control both Kirika and Masha, two sisters with different playstyles, to explore the map and defeat enemies. The game includes couch and online co-op, the ability to collect and craft items, and multiple difficulty modes.

Limited editions of the game, which include special art cards and exclusive artwork, are available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch until they sell out. The game will be released on June 12, 2025. For more information, visit the official PQube website.
