Full Sail University Unveils State-of-the-Art Esports Center, Armada HQ

Full Sail University, a leading educational institution for entertainment media and emerging technologies, has announced the opening of Armada HQ, a 2,743 square foot gaming and esports center on its campus. This student-focused facility is equipped with state-of-the-art production studios, gaming areas, and broadcast and streaming facilities, providing students with opportunities to explore various aspects of esports.

Armada HQ, an expansion to the university's existing esports footprint, is designed to support students in their pursuit of careers in esports, offering them a space to build community, skills, and connections. The facility will serve as the primary location for Armada varsity teams' matches and will host community-focused events, LAN tournaments, and workshops throughout the year.

Key features of Armada HQ include 45 gaming stations, a console gaming lounge, and two main gameplay areas with an extensive library of pre-installed titles. The soundproofed broadcast room is equipped with a casting desk, dual low-profile desktop displays, and a 50-inch front-facing display, allowing students to explore the production side of gaming and esports.

Full Sail University collaborated with various partners to design and build Armada HQ, which began construction in 2024. The facility is now open, providing students with a state-of-the-art space to engage with esports and entertainment media.
