Games Done Quick's women and femmes speedrunning event, Frost Fatales, is set to take place from March 9-16 on Twitch. The online event, organized by GDQ's Frame Fatales community, will feature speedrunners from around the world showcasing their skills to raise money for the National Women's Law Center. Some of the highlights of this year's Frost Fatales include a "girl squad" 3-way race of Final Fantasy X-2 using all female characters, Sonic X Shadow Generations as a bonus game, and a one-handed Celeste Any% closing run. The complete schedule for the event can be found on the Frost Fatales website.

Frame Fatales events have raised over $1 million for charity since 2019, with last year's Frost Fatales marathon raising $155,000 for the National Women's Law Center. In January, Games Done Quick's Awesome Games Done Quick event raised over $2.5 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Games Done Quick is an organizer of video game speedrunning marathons, featuring high-level gameplay by speedrunners raising money for charity. The organization has teamed up with several charities in its 15-year history, including Prevent Cancer Foundation and Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), and has raised more than $54 million for charity to date.

The National Women's Law Center is a non-profit organization that fights for gender justice, working across the issues that are central to the lives of women and girls. The organization uses the law in all its forms to change culture and drive solutions to gender inequity, with a focus on breaking down barriers that harm women of color, LGBTQ people, and low-income women and families.

Frost Fatales is a great opportunity to see some impressive speedrunning skills while supporting a worthy cause. Be sure to tune in to the event on Twitch from March 9-16.
