Pc Games Role Playing GameOn April 18, 2025, Playdigious Originals announced that musicians Yvette Young and Mary Spender will be contributing to the OST of the turn-based RPG, Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson. The game is set to release on May 22, 2025, for PC Windows via Steam, with a demo currently available.
Yvette Young is an American guitarist, composer, and visual artist known for her unique two-handed tapping technique and lush chord voicings. Mary Spender is a British singer-songwriter, guitarist, and content creator who blends music, tech, and storytelling on her successful YouTube channel. They join previously announced contributors Rabea Massaad, Cult of Luna, Davie504, Northlane, and Andrew Huang.
Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson follows the journey of Rob, a musician on a quest to restore harmony in a world where zany villains are corrupting music. Players will collect killer riffs and wield powerful guitars to unleash crescendo attacks in epic musical battles.
Playdigious, the publisher, is a Paris-based company specializing in premium mobile ports of successful indie PC and console games. Fretless - The Wrath of Riffson is being developed by Ritual Studios, an independent video game development studio from Chicago, Illinois, known for their unique combination of expressive arts, pixel art graphics, and the power of music in their games.
