The game's combat system features a twist, as players must time their attacks for maximum impact. The original old-school soundtrack features over 40 unique tracks of 16-bit-style music, reminiscent of the golden era of JRPGs. Frameland also features no random encounters, as all enemies are visible on the map, allowing players to avoid them if they wish. Additionally, players can collect and interact with pet dogs, both organic and otherwise.
