Foxhole's Upcoming 'Airborne' Update: Take to the Skies in this War MMO

Siege Camp, the developer of the popular war MMO Foxhole, has announced its upcoming update, Airborne, which will introduce air combat to the game. Players will be able to pilot an array of aircraft, from fighters to bombers, and engage in aerial warfare. The update will also allow players to paradrop behind enemy lines as paratroopers, sabotaging supply chains and equipment. Ground crews will play a crucial role in keeping the skies filled with firepower by rearming and preparing aircraft for their next mission. The update is expected to release in Summer 2025.

In addition to Airborne, Siege Camp will release the Infantry update on November 18th, 2024. This update will overhaul infantry combat with new suppression mechanics, weapon shouldering, and a stamina overhaul. Infantry forces will now be equipped with specialized anti-tank rifles to counter armor and new melee combat systems featuring charge attacks, blocking, and new weapons like the Mace and Sword. Infantry battlegrounds will also be more engaging with the addition of large-scale minefields and ruined fortifications. The Medic update will also expand the role of medics, allowing them to transport the wounded from the front lines for full recovery at Hospitals. Players will be able to build custom loadouts and new vehicles, including tanks and the Medical Train, which acts as a mobile field hospital on the battlefield.

Foxhole is currently available on Steam, and players can join the war effort ahead of the Infantry update on November 18th and the future Airborne update. Players can stay connected and receive crucial updates from the frontlines by joining the official Discord. Siege Camp is a video game studio located in Toronto, Canada, with over 10 years of experience. The studio is best known for Foxhole and is committed to creating online persistent worlds that put thousands of players on the same battlefield.
