FOAMSTARS' GROOVY DISCO Season Launches March 9 with New Character & Modes

Square Enix has announced that FOAMSTARS, the online 4v4 foam party shooter, will launch its second season, "GROOVY DISCO," on March 9, 2024. The new season will introduce a new character, "Coiff Guy," who can be obtained for free as a Tier 31 reward for the Season Pass or immediately by purchasing the Premium Pass. Players can also look forward to new modes, missions, and limited-time events.

The "GROOVY DISCO" season will feature Ranked Party, a competitive event with two modes: Ranked Party Lonestar, a solo player-based event, and Ranked Party Tribe-Vibe, a team-based event. There are seven ranks to progress through, and players can earn Rank Points to take part in Rank-Up Trials. The season will also include Extreme Party, which features two special themed modes: All Coiff Guy Party and Super Duel Party. Additionally, the Happy FriYAY Party will be available every weekend during the season, allowing players to try out next season's FOAMSTAR.

Players can earn XP and advance through the season tiers to unlock rewards such as character skins and items by competing in battles or missions and completing Weekly Challenges. A Premium Season Pass is available for purchase at £4.99, which will unlock even more rewards. FOAMSTARS will be available to purchase for £24.99 beginning March 5, 2024, via the PlayStation Store and requires a PlayStation Plus subscription.

FOAMSTARS is a vibrant, over-the-top shooter that combines the fun of partying with the thrill of combat. It features a combination of PvP and PvE modes for up to eight players and is accessible to players of all skill levels. The game is rated PEGI 12, and an internet connection is required to play.
