Agnostiko Origins is a metroidvania game inspired by the steampunk era of the Philippines in 1890. The game follows the story of a creature known as "The Man in the Red Scarf" who sets out to stop the evil Mr. Plague from terrorizing the city of Intramuros with his army of monsters. The game was developed by Leoned Andrew Tumbaga of Singles Alliance and is considered the Filipino version of Castlevania, combining elements from classic games such as Castlevania Simon's Quest, Super Castlevania, and Dracula X.

The game features a leveling system where the character gains HP and attack points with each progress save point. The game is inspired by 16-bit games like Super Nintendo games and includes English subtitles with Tagalog audio. A quick potion feature is also included to help players in fighting the various monsters in the game, including Filipino mythological creatures such as Tikbalang, Kapre, Whitelady, Mambabarang, Mananglang, and Tiktik.

The developer, Singles Alliance, is based in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan, Philippines and can be found on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. Agnostiko Origins is now available on Nintendo's eshop and is a must-try for fans of the metroidvania genre and those interested in Filipino culture and mythology.
