Fallen Tear: The Ascension Kickstarter Campaign Funded in Six Hours, Unlocks Exciting New Features

The Kickstarter campaign for "Fallen Tear: The Ascension," a 2D Metroidvania title by Winter Crew Studios, has been successfully funded within the first six hours of its launch. The campaign has since added four stretch goals, offering backers additional features such as Boss Rush Mode, voice acting in English and Japanese, more NPCs, new quests, and difficulty settings. The campaign will continue until October 1, allowing fans to support the project and receive exclusive rewards.

"Fallen Tear: The Ascension" takes place in a high fantasy universe, where players control Hira, a young boy with the ability to manipulate threads of destiny. The game features core mechanics such as Ascension Skills, Masteries Skills, and Hunter Skills, which are unlocked through forming Fated Bonds, completing tasks, and defeating powerful bosses.

Key features of the game include intense combat, a deep and engaging storyline, hand-drawn visuals, and an immersive soundtrack. Fated Bonds are companions who join Hira on his journey, each with unique abilities and storylines. The game combines elements of JRPGs and Metroidvanias, offering character-driven party systems, quests, side content, and ascension skills.

Winter Crew Studios is an independent game development studio from the Philippines, dedicated to creating emotionally appealing games with high-quality craftsmanship. The studio's founder, Stephen Manalastas, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support from the community.
