Peanut Button, an independent game studio based in Tel Aviv, has recently announced their new game, Riddlewood Manor. This narrative-driven mystery is a point-and-click horror adventure, designed to combine unsettling atmosphere with whimsical nostalgia, reminiscent of amusement park haunted houses and classic cartoons such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, Scooby-Doo, and The Addams Family. The demo of Riddlewood Manor is now available on Steam.

Set in a deteriorating manor stuck in time, Riddlewood Manor features atmospheric puzzles, exploration, and psychological horror with a cozy, nostalgic tone. The hand-drawn art style adds to the eerie charm, creating a unique world that is both unsettling and inviting. Players will solve cleverly twisted puzzles, meet eccentric characters, and uncover the tragic history of the Riddlewood family.

The demo showcases atmospheric point-and-click exploration, inventive puzzles that blend whimsy and horror, and memorable characters, from peculiar creatures to sinister spirits. The game offers a tailored experience, allowing players to enable content warnings in the settings to soften jump scares, depending on individual comfort levels.

Peanut Button, founded by brothers Asaf and Eyal Geva, has previously gained recognition for their sci-fi detective story, The Secret of Retropolis, which was well-received at the Cannes Film Festival and on Steam and Meta Quest. With Riddlewood Manor, the studio aims to bring their unique style to a horror adventure filled with puzzles and dark humor.
