Pc Games Indie Game Action Game Role Playing Game Early Access

Readyverse Studios, in partnership with Walker Labs, has announced the development of OPEN, a AAA quality metaverse experience featuring interoperability with well-known IPs and leveraging web3 technology. The Readyverse, a next-gen immersive and interoperable platform for discovering metaverse games and experiences, will host OPEN as its flagship experience. The third-person battle royale game features nostalgia-infused biomes with characters and cultural legends from iconic franchises. Players can engage in collaborative and competitive game modes, utilizing various gaming disciplines.

OPEN's name reflects the principles of asset interoperability, digital ownership, decentralization, and security. The game will feature a Ready Player One biome, allowing fans to participate in competitive experiences from the novel and film. Readyverse Studios has also partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery to exclusively bring the Ready Player One franchise to the metaverse.

The team behind OPEN includes experienced game developers from Epic Games, DICE, Microsoft, PlayStation, Mojang, Remedy, Ubisoft, Lucasfilm, and Electronic Arts. The developers aim to bring fan-favorite and original IPs to life at the highest fidelity, with a particular focus on satisfying gamers who have dreamed of engaging in such a world.

Readyverse Studios is a first-of-its-kind next-gen technology and experience studio co-founded by Futureverse Co-Founders Shara Senderoff and Aaron McDonald, as well as Ernest Cline, the best-selling novelist and renowned creator of the groundbreaking franchise Ready Player One, and Dan Farah, Ready Player One film producer.
