Expansive Worlds, a division of Avalanche Studios Group, has announced the release of a new DLC for the immersive hunting game, theHunter: Call of the Wild. The DLC, named "Sundarpatan Nepal Hunting Reserve," will be available on June 18 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store for $11.99/€11.79. The DLC features a new location in Nepal, with three unique regions, 13 animal species, and a new weapon, the 19th century Gandhare Rifle.

The Sundarpatan Nepal Hunting Reserve is a vast environment with varying landscapes, including mountainous regions, rhododendron forests, and sal forests. The DLC offers a cultural exploration and education experience, with non-hunting mission objectives such as agriculture, photography, and repairs to support and develop the reserve.

The DLC also introduces 13 animal species, including 10 new species unique to this area, such as the Bengal Tiger, Barasingha, Snow Leopard, and Large Tahr. The Gandhare Rifle, a handcrafted, high-caliber, single-shot rifle made in Nepal, is also introduced in this DLC.

A free update will be available for all players, which includes two Nepal-inspired cosmetic items, remasters of the Water Buffalo and Blackbucks models, population resets for a range of species, changes to the behavior of Pumas in Parque Fernando, multiple bug fixes, and more.

theHunter: Call of the Wild is an immersive hunting game that offers a single-player campaign and a multiplayer experience. The game features an incredibly diverse animal species roster across twelve unique reserves and has been actively engaging millions of players since its release in 2017.

Expansive Worlds is a creative division within Avalanche Studios Group and is best known for the long-standing and successful theHunter franchise. The company develops games using the proprietary Apex engine, enabling vast open worlds with endless creative possibilities.
