Ubisoft and Evil Empire have released The Rogue Prince of Persia, a 2D action-platforming rogue-lite game, in Early Access on Steam. The game is also available on GeForce Now and will feature additional content such as new levels, bosses, weapons, enemies, and upgrades based on community feedback leading up to its full 1.0 launch.

In The Rogue Prince of Persia, players will navigate through procedurally generated levels in a mythical version of Ctesiphon, the former heart of the Persian Empire, which is now under threat from the Huns and their dark shamanic magic. Players can use the Prince's acrobatic talents, including the signature wall run, to traverse the environment and engage in combat with a variety of foes.

The game's original soundtrack, produced and composed by Persian-American Electronic Music Producer and Performance Artist ASADI, is now available on Ubisoft Music and all streaming platforms. The Rogue Prince of Persia is developed by Evil Empire and published by Ubisoft, and will be available on other platforms at a later point with Ubisoft Connect’s features.

Evil Empire is a French independent studio that has previously worked on post-launch content for Dead Cells. The studio employs 70 people and is committed to creating live-ops content hand-in-hand with players. Ubisoft is a creator of worlds, committed to enriching players’ lives with original and memorable entertainment experiences.
