The demo will feature 20 single-player levels, 8 co-op levels, and 25 PVP levels, showcasing various game modes.
Perplex takes inspiration from classic 2D platform puzzle games and combines them with new, original mechanics to create a unique and challenging experience. Set in a vibrant neon world, the game offers a retro-style gaming experience with a modern twist, accompanied by a fitting synthwave soundtrack. Players will encounter increasingly difficult puzzles and mechanics, while PVP mode allows competition against friends and co-op mode encourages teamwork to solve complex puzzles.
Dogukan Terzi, founder of Cyvana, started developing Perplex in 2024, inspired by his love for synthwave and retro-style games. Testers' feedback during the QA phase has been overwhelmingly positive, and Terzi is excited to share Perplex with players worldwide during Steam's Next Fest.
The full version of Perplex, featuring over 275 single-player, 40 co-op, and 100 PVP levels, along with new mechanics, is scheduled for release on Steam in Q2 2025. Cyvana, an independent game studio based in Turkey, is committed to creating immersive and innovative gaming experiences, with Perplex being its debut title.
