The Edge of Allegoria, a 2D RPG developed by Button Factory Games and CobraTekku Games, will be released for PC on Steam on December 4th, 2024. The game features pixel art and GameBoy aesthetics, with a huge game world, expansive dungeons, and a sophisticated mastery system. The protagonist, who is going through a midlife crisis, must fight against countless monsters in the land of Allegoria. The game offers 145 monster types, 41 boss fights, 31 dungeons, and 6 divine beings. Players can choose from 96 unique weapons, each with its own combat skills, and permanently retain the skill and stats of the weapon with enough weapon experience. The Edge of Allegoria is the debut project of Canadian Joe Picknell, who is an avid RPG fan, pixel artist, video game composer, and game developer. The game features morbid humor and strong self-irony, making it a fun experience for everyone.
