Experience Medieval Urban Planning in City Tales Demo

Pc Games Indie GameIndie studio Irregular Shapes and publisher Firesquid have released the demo for their upcoming medieval kingdom simulator, City Tales - Medieval Era. The demo is now available on Steam until March 3rd, as part of the Steam Next Fest. Players can step into the role of a medieval lord, directing the growth and shape of their township using the innovative urban planning tool. The demo includes a tutorial, over 40 buildings, and a photo mode to capture and share creations.
City Tales - Medieval Era will offer an intricate economy with over 50 different types of resources and 60 types of buildings when it launches in Early Access later this year. The game's custom 3D procedural engine generates each building individually, providing a unique and immersive city-building experience. The game also features a cast of companions, whose storylines and growth are shaped by the player's decisions, adding a new layer of replayability and immersion to the city-builder genre.
Players can grow their settlements from small hamlets to sprawling medieval cities, evolving their creations and building monuments that represent their city. The game is set to release on PC in 2025, and players can wishlist it now. Irregular Shapes is a video game development studio founded in 2022 by Rémi Malet, a city-builder enthusiast. Firesquid is a developer-focused publisher that aims to create a catalog of strategy titles that modernize and revisit the genre.
