Honor of Kings has announced a new event to celebrate Silat, Lucha Libre, and Capoeira with martial arts-inspired skins, challenges, and in-game themes. The event introduces a new arcade mode, Gemini Showdown, where players can learn and explore skills from various martial arts styles. The update also introduces a new hero, Ziya, a Mage who is a great pick for newcomers. Players can obtain three new skins for free by completing specific events in August. The Ascension Skin series is inspired by three different martial arts techniques and represents the regions and cultures where these fighting styles originated. The All-Star Fighters Open (AFO) is a fantasy tournament that brings together fighters from various regions and cultural backgrounds. Ziya's background story is also revealed, where he sets out on the Journey of Divinity, becoming the first of the Enforcers and later serving as their secret leader. Ziya sacrifices his divine power to defeat the Dark Master and achieves enlightenment during his captivity. Now, he has broken out of his imprisonment to protect the world in his own way.
