Pc Games Indie GameAviary Studios' much-awaited FMV psychological horror-thriller, Hello Stranger, is an Official Side Event at the London Games Festival and will be featured at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival this April. The game, which launches on PC via Steam in May 2025, allows audiences to control the story by voting on decisions using glowsticks during interactive group gameplay screenings at both festivals.
Hello Stranger is a gripping FMV psychological horror-thriller written and directed by Paul Raschid (The Complex, Five Dates, Ten Dates, The Gallery). The game features a star-studded cast, including George Blagden, Danny Griffin, Christina Wolfe, Kulvinder Ghir, Laura Whitmore, Yasmin Finney, and Derek Jacobi.
In Hello Stranger, Cam, a man who lives his entire life through his smart-home, encounters a masked stranger on a random video chat platform, leading to a chilling nightmare. The stranger hacks into Cam's home, locks him inside, and forces him to play three deadly games. The game features over four hours of live-action content with multiple branching paths, choice-driven gameplay leading to ten possible endings, and interactive mini-games that test the player's wits and reflexes.
Hello Stranger has already made waves at the Dinard Film Festival 2024 and the Red Sea Film Festival 2024, earning its place among the best in interactive storytelling. The game's success follows Aviary Studios' previous title, The Gallery, which screened in cinemas across the UK, France, and China.
Hello Stranger will be available on PC via Steam in May 2025 for $9.99 USD/ €9.75 EUR/ £8.50 GBP. For more information, visit the official websites www.aviaryfilms.co.uk and www.paulraschid.com.
