Cygames, a video game publisher and developer, has unveiled its plans for Evo 2024, the Evolution Championship Series set to take place in Las Vegas from July 19 to 21. The company's booth will showcase the fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (GBVSR), featuring a preview demo of update Version 1.50, which includes balance changes and a new character. Autograph sessions with key personnel and a friendly GBVSR tournament with special guests are also on the schedule.
A playable demo of Granblue Fantasy: Relink and a variety of new and returning merchandise will be available at the booth. Cygames will also host a watch party for Evo 2024's main GBVSR tournament, and give out novelty items to attendees.
In addition to Evo 2024 activities, GBVSR is currently on sale at a 40% discount on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam platforms until July 31, 29, and 29, respectively. The sale may be subject to change without prior notice.
Evo 2024 tickets must be purchased to participate and/or spectate at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
