Spoonful of Wonder, an Australian development studio, and Tesura Games, a physical publisher, have collaborated to release the physical edition of Copycat for PlayStation 5 this summer. Copycat is a narrative-driven game about the meaning of home, following a shelter cat named Dawn who must find her way back home after a stray copycat steals her place in the household.

The game features colorful visuals and smooth cat-like controls, allowing players to explore the world from a cat's perspective. Players can climb trees, fight dogs, and make mischief while reflecting on themes of home, loneliness, and belonging. The three-act story is fully voice-acted and features a diverse score, with local voices and locations under the Australian sun.

Copycat is developed by Samantha Cable and Kostia Liakhov, an Australian/Ukrainian duo behind the gaming collective, Spoonful of Wonder. Tesura Games has nineteen years of experience in the video game market and has worked with international publishers to distribute games in the Spanish market. They are now publishing and distributing special boxed editions of video games in international territories.

Copycat is a philosophical narrative that disguises itself as a simple story about a cat trying to discover where she truly belongs. It asks questions about our own existence and place in the world. The physical edition of Copycat for PlayStation 5 includes an Olive & Dawn Postcard.
