White Vortex Games has recently announced and released a new demo for their game, Dreamians: Card Battle, which is now available on Steam. This roguelike deckbuilder introduces an innovative feature to the genre: mid-battle evolution mechanics. This mechanic allows players to dynamically transform their monsters during combat, adding an additional layer of complexity to the gameplay.

Dreamians: Card Battle offers a fresh take on deckbuilding by enabling players to choose a monster that evolves as the battle progresses, significantly impacting the gameplay. The demo features three unique playable monsters, Dragnis, Wolfae, and Kalek, each with distinct abilities. Players can unlock Super and Mega transformations to turn the tide of combat, adding depth to the game's strategy.

The game boasts a deep card system, with over 100 cards that players can combine for endless strategic possibilities. Additionally, players can sometimes call upon an in-game friend to join the battle, providing helpful support. The demo also features progression elements, such as leveling up, unlocking rewards, and facing over ten challenging enemies.

According to Renan Barreto, founder of White Vortex Games, the demo represents months of hard work and passion. The team is eager for players to experience the game's unique evolution mechanic and share their feedback before launch. The demo is currently translated into eleven languages, including English, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, and German.
