Exogenesis Studio has revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Metroidvania game, INAYAH - Life After Gods, which is set to release in early 2025. The game is being developed by a team that includes some of the creators of Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, as well as artists who have previously worked for Disney and Blizzard.

INAYAH - Life After Gods is set in a post-apocalyptic world that was once home to an advanced alien civilization. Players take on the role of Inayah, an orphaned outcast who is on a quest to find her lost tribe. She is guided by the spirit of her deceased mentor and must navigate a divided world, forging bonds and uncovering secrets that will redefine the meaning of family.

The game promises to deliver an emotionally charged adventure, with a variety of character builds and abilities, three unique weapon forms, and 20 distinct bosses, each with their own mechanics. The hand-drawn 2D world of INAYAH - Life After Gods is vast and features multiple biomes and secrets to discover. The game also boasts an original music score by composer Alex Kestner and top-tier voice acting, including Jessica Caroll, who has appeared in more than 28 shows and games, including Baldur’s Gate 3.

The new trailer for INAYAH - Life After Gods showcases Inayah's lethal combos and her ability to use her skills to conquer obstacles and explore the world. Players will face fearsome bosses and have the opportunity to shape Inayah's destiny through their decisions.
