Reburn, an independent video game development studio previously known as 4A Games Ukraine, is hosting a 24-hour Closed Beta for their upcoming sci-fi first-person shooter, La Quimera. The Beta will take place on Saturday, April 19, 7a.m. PT/10a.m. ET/2p.m. UTC and will last until Sunday, April 20, 7a.m. PT/10a.m. ET/2p.m. UTC. La Quimera is set in a futuristic Latin American megalopolis, where players, equipped with exosuits, must navigate between corporations, private military companies, and robotic creatures. The game is written and created by Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon) and E.J.A. Warren. La Quimera will be available on PC via Steam on April 25. Players can sign up for the Closed Beta on the official La Quimera Steam page, but slots are limited. The Beta aims to test the infrastructure for online play. Developers at Reburn are available for interviews upon request.
