The Esports World Cup (EWC) for Free Fire, a popular mobile battle royale game, is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 10 to 14, 2024. The tournament will feature 18 teams from various regions, including Indonesia, Brazil, Thailand, Mexico, and Algeria, competing for a prize pool of USD1,000,000 and a slot in the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2024 in Brazil.

The tournament will consist of three stages: the Knock-out Stage, the Point-Rush Stage, and the Grand Final. The Knock-out Stage will see teams divided into three groups, with the top 12 teams advancing to the Point-Rush Stage. The Grand Final will determine the overall winner of the EWC.

Some of the teams to watch out for include EVOS Esports from Indonesia, which has won the most number of Free Fire esports titles in the country, and FLUXO from Brazil, which has three former world champions in its roster. Other teams include ONIC Olympus from Indonesia, All Gamers Global from Thailand, 19esports from Mexico, Netshoes Miners from Brazil, and ALQADSIAH ESPORTS from Algeria.

Fans can watch the tournament live on multiple streaming platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, with broadcast commentary available in nine languages. Themed in-game missions will also be available for fans to participate in and support their favorite teams.

The EWC is a global celebration of competitive excellence and esports fandom, featuring a unique cross-game competition structure. It is organized by Garena, a leading global online games developer and publisher, and Sea Limited, a leading global consumer internet company.
