Indie Game Early Access Pc Games Action Game Role Playing Game Virtual Reality Gaming Free To PlayErabit, a company that supports indie game developers, has taken over the maintenance and updates of the popular indie game, Star Survivor. The game's solo developer, Ken, of SpaceOwl Games, found it challenging to maintain the game due to his busy schedule and personal issues. Erabit is committed to upholding the high standard of game development that players have come to expect.
Star Survivor is a sci-fi rogue-lite survival game set in space, where players must fight through hordes of hostile space bugs using upgraded ships. Erabit has already started addressing critical bugs, including memory leak problems, beam weapon bugs, frame drops with controllers, enemy freeze bugs, and achievement adjustments.
In addition to fixing existing issues, Erabit will add new content and optimizations based on Ken's design ideas. Players can expect an optimized display of various UI interfaces, new cards, new spaceships, and more. Erabit will also recruit test players from the community and Discord when ready.
Star Survivor is currently in Early Access, and Erabit plans to exit Early Access as soon as possible. A new content pack will be released to mark the end of Early Access, featuring new ships, a ship skin system, new cards, and a new challenge mode. Erabit thanks everyone who continues to play and support Star Survivor, and players can visit the Steam Page or join the community on Discord for more information.
Erabit is dedicated to supporting indie game developers by providing comprehensive publishing services, and SpaceOwl Games is a solo dev who released games such as BattleGroupVr and Star Survivor. He is a big fan of old-school space exploration movies, particularly Star Trek and Star Wars.
