Pc Games Indie Game Action Game Early Access Role Playing Game Free To Play Microsoft Xbox Nintendo SwitchThe psychedelic turn-based bullet hell roguelike, Enter the Chronosphere, developed by Effort Star and published by Joystick Ventures, has released a new demo on PC via Steam in advance of the Turn-Based RPG Fest. The demo now supports Simplified Chinese, French, and German languages and is available for play from September 30 to October 7.
Enter the Chronosphere is a unique roguelike genre fusion where time only moves when the player moves. Players must think two steps ahead and make decisions on whether to dodge roll, take a shot, charge up a special ability, or wait a turn to see what enemies do next. The demo features a new biome, Bellusect, filled with violent insects and a whole evolutionary chain from baby larva to insectoid demiqueens. Players can wield living weapons, such as dismembered ovipositors and acid-spewing armaments, to exterminate pests.
The newly updated demo includes new character-specific abilities, such as Urtar the Bearzerker's Kinetic Surge, which sends enemies flying, and Marcia's dodge roll that deals extra damage when her health is low. More characters are in the works. The demo is only available for a limited time, so players should not rest on their laurels.
