Capcom has announced that Elena, the capoeira-fighting fan favorite, will join the roster of Street Fighter 6 on June 5, 2025. She will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Elena's unique moveset is inspired by capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines martial arts, dance, music, and acrobatics. She brings a new stage, Reniala Remains, featuring the plains of Africa at night with wildlife in the background.

Elena has two colorful Outfits. Outfit 1 is themed around her newest look, while Outfit 2 is an ode to her iconic look in Street Fighter III: New Generation and Ultra Street Fighter IV. Players can acquire Outfit 2 by maxing out their bond with her in World Tour or via Fighter Coins.

Elena's moveset includes Rhino Horn, Scratch Wheel, Lynx Song, Leopard Snap, Harvest Circle, Mallet Smash, Lynx Whirl, Spinning Scythe, Moon Glider, Meteor Volley, Revival Dance, and Song of the Grasslands. A major balance patch will be introduced when Elena launches, with changes for all previous 25 characters and broader system changes.

Elena is available for players who own or purchase the Year 2 Character Pass, Year 2 Ultimate Pass, or Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition, or for those who purchase her with Fighter Coins. The Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition will be available on June 5, 2025, across all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2, with pre-orders beginning today. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Street Fighter 6 and Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition will feature new ways to battle with friends and new modes. Street Fighter 6 is priced at $39.99 across all platforms.
