Irox Games and Untold Tales have announced the release date for their upcoming game, EcoGnomix, a city-builder and turn-based roguelite hybrid. The game is set to release on September 30, 2024, for Steam, GOG, Epic, and Nintendo Switch. In EcoGnomix, players build a city above ground while sending teams of gnomes into enchanted caves to gather resources.

The game features strategic turn-based gameplay, where players must carefully manage their resources and adapt their team to various biomes. Each run becomes more unstable, and players must decide when to leave and plan accordingly. The game offers a variety of gnomes, each with their own specialty, and players can upgrade their team as they progress.

One of the standout features of EcoGnomix is that every run earns players resources, regardless of the outcome. This means that players can continuously progress and improve their city and team. A free playable demo is available today on Steam.

EcoGnomix combines the addictive city-building genre with the challenging and replayable nature of roguelites. With its unique blend of gameplay mechanics, players can look forward to a fresh and engaging experience. The game's charming art style and quirky setting add to its appeal, making it a game to look out for in the coming months.
