Pc Games Nintendo Switch Action Game Role Playing Game Strategy Early AccessThe Earth has been shattered into pieces once again, and D3Publisher Inc. has released Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (EDF: WB2) to address the crisis. This sequel to the voxel-spinoff of the popular third-person shooter series, EDF, is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The game is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB, PEGI 12, and USK 16.
EDF: WB2 is priced at $49.99, €49.99, and £39.99 for the Standard Edition and $74.99, €74.99, and £64.99 for the Deluxe Edition on PlayStation consoles and PC. The Nintendo Switch version retails at $39.99, €39.99 for the Standard Edition and $64.99, €64.99, £54.99 for the Deluxe Edition. Players who preordered the game will receive unique rewards, including exclusive playable characters, weapons, and more.
The game's story follows the voxel (cube) Earth after the first installment, where brothers from across the world reunite to face an unprecedented threat brought about by a new assassin. Players must assemble a unique Earth Defense Force team to save the cube Earth across more than 100 missions and five difficulty levels. The game features a voxel art style, epic 4-player team battles, and over 100 characters and 600 equipable weapons and accessories to collect and deploy into battle.
EDF: WB2 supports online co-op for up to 4-players and offline split-screen for PS4 and PS5 players. The game features English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean voiceovers, making it accessible to a wider audience.
