Pc Games Sony Playstation Action Game Role Playing GameD3Publisher Inc. has announced the release of Earth Defense Force 6 (EDF 6) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, with a Standard Edition priced at $59.99 and a Deluxe Edition for PlayStation platforms at $89.99. Players who purchase within five months of launch will receive bonus content, and Deluxe Edition owners will get an early purchase bonus.
EDF 6 is set in 2027, three years after the events of EDF 5, with humanity rebuilding after a war against alien invaders that decimated 90% of the Earth's population. Players must defend the planet from new threats with four returning classes, each with new abilities and weapons. The game supports two-player split-screen and four-player online co-op.
The Earth Defense Force series celebrated its 20th anniversary in June 2023, having sold over 5 million units worldwide. The series has become a beloved and iconic saga, known for relentless alien invasions and intense battles.
D3Publisher, a Japanese video game publisher and member of the BANDAI NAMCO group, developed EDF 6 in collaboration with SANDLOT.
