The game will be published by Tencent Games in China and will be available on the country's largest game platform. Dungeon&Fighter Mobile is based on Nexon's original IP and is a mobile version of the successful PC game, Dungeon&Fighter, which has more than 850 million registered players worldwide and has generated revenue of over US$22 billion since its launch in 2005.
The game is developed by NEOPLE INC., a studio that has led on the development of the PC game, Dungeon&Fighter. It features the same 2D arcade-style side-scrolling action gameplay, immersive multiplayer role-playing game elements, and continuously evolving storyline as the PC version. The mobile version is optimized for mobile devices and offers the same action-packed gameplay experience that the franchise is known for.
The announcement follows a successful beta test of the game earlier this year, which received an enthusiastic response from players. Tencent Games will provide marketing and operational support in China, and a strong marketing campaign is planned to attract new players to the franchise. Dungeon&Fighter Mobile is expected to energize the franchise's large base of existing fans and attract new players in China, which has a massive mobile games market.
