DREDGE Expansion 'The Iron Rig' Arrives August 15th, Collector's Edition Announced

Black Salt Games and Team17 Digital have announced the release of the second expansion for the indie fishing adventure game, DREDGE. The expansion, named "The Iron Rig," will be available on August 15th for Steam, GOG, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10.

The Iron Rig expansion will allow players to revisit every area from the base game and collect resources to build a base of operations with the Ironhaven Corporation. This will unlock new tiers of equipment, abilities, gadgets, and consumables. The expansion will also introduce a new tier of fishing equipment, new characters, hazards, world events, and lore to uncover.

Additionally, a new dark liquid will seep into familiar areas, transforming them into perilous zones and revealing peculiar fish species. The Iron Rig will be priced at $11.99/€11.99/£11.99.

A DREDGE Collector's Edition is now available for preorder, containing the base game, all DLCs, exclusive artwork, a replica of the mysterious Sign of Ruin talisman, a double-sided poster, a map, a complete compendium of all fish, a message in a bottle from Black Salt Games, and a metal doubloon coin. The Collector's Edition will be available in the USA, Europe, and Australasia for £99.99/€99.99/$99.99.

For those yet to explore DREDGE's sinister waters, a Complete Edition will be available digitally on August 15th on all platforms, containing all content from Blackstone Key, The Pale Reach, and The Iron Rig. DREDGE is developed by Black Salt Games and is available to purchase now on Steam, GOG, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store.
