Soft Source Pte Ltd and developer Digital Happiness are set to release the DreadOut Remastered Collection for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on January 16, 2025. This compilation includes the original DreadOut and DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark, offering a complete horror experience for fans of the series.
DreadOut is a third-person supernatural horror game where players control Linda, a high school student trapped in an abandoned town. Armed with her smartphone and an SLR camera, Linda must face terrifying encounters and solve puzzles to determine her fate and that of her friends. The game's story follows a group of high school students who stumble upon a forgotten town, only to discover sinister forces that threaten their lives.
DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark is a standalone horror game set in the DreadOut universe. This missing chapter puts players in control of Linda once more as she is transported into The Mirror Realm, a portal connecting to eight haunted dominions filled with terrifying ghosts. Players must navigate these realms and make strategic decisions to survive and ultimately determine Linda's fate.
Both games in the DreadOut Remastered Collection offer unique and thrilling horror experiences, with a range of supernatural encounters, challenging puzzles, and immersive storytelling.
