DOWNHILL RPG Surpasses Funding Goal, Unlocks Exciting Stretch Goals

Sisterhood Games' fourth wall-breaking action RPG, DOWNHILL, has successfully reached 142% of its funding goal on Kickstarter with eight days remaining. The game, which allows players to control protagonist Fade and communicate with her, has gained support from over 1170 backers, 33000 wishlists on Steam, and almost 8000 demo players.

With the initial funding goal met, Sisterhood Games is now focused on achieving a series of stretch goals. The first stretch goal, bringing controller and Steam Deck support to the game, has already been reached. The second stretch goal, which will allow the studio to craft extended endings for each potential playthrough path, is currently in progress.

In DOWNHILL, players control Fade and can influence her decisions, building a bond or breaking her down. The game features a compelling narrative with mysteries, otherworldly threats, and alternate realities. Players' choices, such as killing or sparing foes, deliver unique leveling-up opportunities, and there are consequences to every action taken.

The game is being developed by Sisterhood Games, an all-female three-person team united by their passion for DOWNHILL, their debut game. The team is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the game's continued development, and the first demo is available on Steam. The game features a unique 4th wall-breaking narrative, and players can influence Fade's decisions, build a bond, or break her down. The world of Raghned is rich, compelling, and shaped by the player's choices.
